Decades ago, when grandpa Paško arrived in Šibenik from the barren lands of the Primošten hinterland and started the first farm in the Vidici area, grazing cows and sheep where buildings would later rise, the first tomatoes quietly sprouted among them – destined to become the heart of the family tradition.

Today, that same variety, whose seeds have been preserved and passed down in the family from generation to generation with love and care, is now being cultivated by the third generation. Although the farm has moved from Vidici to Donje Polje, the values remain the same – natural cultivation, farm manure, pure groundwater, and a lot of manual labor.

Alongside the famous tomatoes, the Marinov farm today also grows zucchini, eggplants, melons, green beans, cucumbers, and other heirloom varieties, all cultivated in a way that is honest to the land and to people. The taste is what sets them apart – deep, full, real. The authentic taste, from a time when everything was simpler, but truly valuable.
