In a small hamlet of Grecije lies one of the happiest families in Dalmatia – the Štrbac family. There’s mom, dad, five wonderful daughters and a whole army of animals, together forming a cheerful, hardworking farm. Eleven years ago, when the father lost his job, the family chose to bravely set out on a new life adventure, bought their first goats and began a story that is now far more than just a job.
The Štrbacs love for animals and cheese proved to be the right choice. Over time, alongside Alpine and Saanen goats, they added Lacaune sheep, a Simmental cow, a Brown Swiss heifer, ducks, geese, chickens - and day by day, a small farm full of feathered, woolly, and furry friends grew. Every family member has their responsibilities – from milking and feeding to cheese-making. Supporting them faithfully are their seven dogs – irreplaceable helpers and family members, without whom this story would not be the same.
OPG Mirjana Štrbac is not just a farm. It is living proof that love, perseverance, and togetherness can create a miracle – and precisely where it is least expected.
