When a family-run distillery from the Dalmatian coast earns back-to-back medals at London’s International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC), one of the world’s most respected spirits awards, people start to pay attention.  And rightly so, because Kraljević Distillery in Vodice is not just producing liqueurs and rakija, it’s bottling generations of dedication, quiet refinement, and that proverbial Dalmatian persistence.

Founded in 1954 and still run by the Kraljević family from their home at Artina 11, this boutique distillery blends time-honored methods, like copper stills and slow maceration, with modern temperature control and precision. The result? Flavors that are balanced, honest, and unforgettable.
Their mint liqueur, which earned the IWSC recognition in London, is made from garden-grown mint and a base of fig rakija, herbaceous, smooth, and utterly unique. Alongside it, the family’s lemon liqueur (crafted from whole fruit, not just zest) and other classics like walnut and cherry liqueurs have claimed multiple gold and silver medals at CROSPIRIT 2024, Croatia’s top craft spirits competition.
