Growing watermelons, peppers, and tomatoes along the Kosovčica River with respect for the land.
On the fertile land along the Kosovčica River, where Goran's grandfather and father once cultivated crops, a new story is sprouting today—one of returning to the land and family tradition. Although the idea of vegetable farming has been in the family for a decade, it has gained real momentum in the last five years thanks to persistent learning and investment, supported by rural development measures and county grants.
Today, watermelons, tomatoes, peppers, melons, and other seasonal vegetables grow on two hectares of arable land—a diversity that reflects both the richness of the soil and the dedication to the work. The machinery is modest but functional, and every row and seedling is the result of effort and the will to create something of one's own.
The convenient location of the family home next to the state road allows for doorstep sales, where customers gladly return for fresh, tasty, and homegrown produce. OPG Goran Stojanović demonstrates how, with persistence, knowledge, and love for one's region, the land that remembers generations can be revitalized.
