“Once you try something wonderful, something that simultaneously gives you a feeling of peace, satisfaction, and fulfillment like I feel when I'm in nature, of course you want that feeling again and again,” says Jure Rončević, the owner of the Juron Family Farm. His connection to the land dates back to his childhood, when he helped his grandfather and father in the fields. It was this emotional bond and the desire to preserve his family heritage that prompted him to establish the Juron Family Farm in 2022 and convert the family plots into almond and rose groves.
The family farm is located in the vicinity of Šibenik, in the areas of Danilo Biranj and Bilice, far from pollution. Today, the farm tends to about 50 old almond trees and two new groves with 70 trees, which Jure planted with his family. They plan to expand every year but remain true to organic principles.
They specialize in growing and processing almonds without pesticides or chemicals. They produce almond oil by cold pressing at temperatures up to 50°C, which preserves its valuable ingredients. The remaining 'press cake' is ground into gluten-free almond flour.
They embrace a philosophy of simplicity—their main product, pure almond oil, has only one ingredient. They believe that nature provides everything needed for skin and hair care. The Juron Family Farm combines a love for the land, tradition, and sustainability, creating products that nourish both body and spirit.
