For OPG Uberi-Pojedi, agriculture isn't just a job, but a way of life – a legacy lovingly nurtured through generations. About fifteen years ago, the father began organically growing vegetables and figs in Bjelina, believing that healthy food comes from healthy soil. Today, this same vision is carried on by his daughter, who returned home after years spent abroad with a clear goal: to expand their organic production and introduce the principles of permaculture.
Their fields are home to garlic, tomatoes – especially aromatic cherry tomatoes, potatoes, chard, green beans, zucchini, spring beans, and fragrant melons. Everything is grown without chemicals, with plenty of manual labor, knowledge, and care. The flavors are rich, full of sun and soil – so good that once you try them, you'll only want more.
They are the only certified organic family farm with such a diverse range of products in the municipality of Benkovac – and perhaps even beyond. Every harvest, every fruit testifies to the Marunić family's dedication to blending tradition with sustainability and creating products that not only nourish the body but also restore faith in nature.
