Merlot

Merlot from the Promina vineyards reflects the power of the sun and the rugged land from which it grows. The wine is dark ruby in color with rich aromas of ripe plums, sour cherries, and subtle notes of vanilla and spices. On the palate, it is soft, rounded, with fine tannins and a warm, long-lasting finish. Ideal for those who love red wines with character, yet drinkability.

Our red wines are not filtered. Through this process, particles in the wine settle to the bottom of the barrel with the help of gravity, and after a certain time, the wine is racked into another barrel. After several such rackings, the wine has almost the same clarity as wine that goes through a filtration process.
Unfiltered wines are more “natural” and “organic”… an authentic version of wine that returns to its roots.

Due to minimal intervention in production, a small amount of fine particles can sometimes be found at the bottom of the bottle. Particles in our wine are not dangerous, do not worry! It is completely natural… In fact, this is what is considered normal for unfiltered wine.
If you leave the bottle upright for about an hour, you will avoid any remaining fine sediment particles in the glass.

Vinification: Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 22 – 26 °C, with daily manual punching down of the cap for 10 days.

Maturation: After fermentation is complete, the wine matures in oak barrels for a minimum of 30 months before bottling.
